An all day performance and workshop about life in Tudor times
for Key Stage 2 children

Tuesday 24 February - Friday 12 March 2004

theatre for young people

Somewhere on the edge of the forest, by a small town in the late Tudor age, a storm lashes the trees. Suddenly in a flash of lightning we can catch a glimpse of a runaway girl, dressed as a boy. She collapses.

She wakes the following morning to find herself befriended by some people who live on the edge of the forest, including Megan Morgan, an old lady.
For a time it seems as if her troubles are over - until the local harvest fails and Megan is accused of making it happen - of being a witch. Friendship and loyalty are tested to the limit in this thrilling story, set in the forest, which explores ideas and beliefs in the Tudor age.
