Summer 2010

"Flora's War"
by Tim Baker

We are delighted to announce the return of one of our most popular plays for young people - the acclaimed "Flora's War" - a touching, funny and sometimes heart-rending account of the lives of a young girl, her older sister, their mother and a young evacuee during the years of the second world war. The production offers a chance to explore the period and, with an accompanying workshop, contrast the differences in people's daily lives between the "make do and mend" years of the 1940's and the exuberant, sensational swinging sixties and seventies.  It is a "must" for primary schools, and we advise teachers to book early to avoid disappointment.

"Excellent production - a truly great way of educating our children".  Ysgol Dyffryn Ial

Supporting the Key Stage 2 curriculum - this all day event of play and workshop looks at the differences in people's daily lives in the 1940's in contrast to those of the 60's and 70's.

This project is available from
